Have you ever noticed that the schools of management at uni seem to have no advice for the 
struggling management of the university and it bureaucracy. That because they love to study 
it as a joke, a glorious source to remind them why they are the elite of the business world. 
However you can actually enjoy and profit from the bureaucracy, a kid you not with resourcefulness 
and cunning red tape can be endured and even enjoyed. Bureaucracy was developed by Weber, a German 
who forgot to mention it was a bad idea to divide every job so strictly with rules that their was a 
title for the person who made the coffee. This bureaucracy theory spawned the product of red tape 
which the scourge of all students and academics. 

The key to surviving bureaucracy is to be prepared for 
all possibilities. It is quite common to have line at the administration centre trailing for several 
kilometres. To survive this it is best to bring food, a book, something to drink and light 
entertainment. Never be in a hurry at a bureaucracy as Murphy laws says that time will travel slower 
just to accommodate you. This is based on time been relative and that time always travels lower when 
in traffic jams, waiting for food or in lines. This way the line will seem less unpleasant. Make sure 
all your paper work is done and ready to avoid re-queuing in the line.

Now that your surviving. 
While trapped in the line their are many things you can take advantage of. 
One of my favourite things is to try and pick up girls in the queue. As the girl are trapped and bored 
out of their skull it gives the perfect opportunity to work. If they came unprepared the offer of food 
especially chocolate can usually break the ice along with general complaints about the bureaucracy. 
Once the conversation has started she can’t flee, she can’t run and she got nothing better to do than 
talk to you. So you have a perfect opportunity with enough time to work you charm and pick up the lady. 
Ladies could use this technique too and are very likely to get more response.It also a great place to 
try out stand up comedy, make new friends, find business partners for new projects and plan for world 
domination. With the ability to hold and audience you have little distract and can achieve great things

Profit
A good entrepreneur can profit from long queues. By getting his paper work done in advance you can run 
a few business idea’s to profit greatly. You can sell drink and light refreshment to people at the 
queue at increased prices of course and they have little choice but to pay or go without as you 
have a pure monopoly. You can work as a line wait o wait in the queue for people so they are free to go 
where they want until just before when you call them to do their business. You can charge more if your 
are authorise to act his agent in law and conduct his business for him.You can also use it as a location 
for focus advertising for many business idea you might have. 

With these tip you can make red tape a useful 
weapon in you arsenal to achieve all you can and more.
